Wait for me, wait for me...
Damien, oh, Damien

Damien, Moody's Kindred Rebel Demand, died unexpectedly on July 9, 2008 after a brief illness. Moments before his death at home, he wagged his tail and smiled with his eyes at me when I told him I loved him and that he was such a good boy.

He always wagged his tail, was always happy for attention. An easy going tri-colored dog, he was sired by Ch. Quasar's Rebel Rouser out of Moody's L-Ti Harmony and was whelped Nov. 11, 1996.

He only needed his majors to finish his championship, and was fourth place 6 to 9 particolor puppy dog at the 1997 American Spaniel Club Cocker National Show in Collinsville, Illinois out of a class of more than 30 puppies. The show was my first ASC national and he brought me my first placement.

With an easy, ground covering gait, Damien flowed even in the last days of his life. His courage and gentle personality made him the best of patients. A donation was made in his memory to the American Spaniel Club Foundation to support health research for Cocker Spaniels.

GiGi and Shirley

Out of a sad winter of loss, when Shirley Hunsaker lost first Victor, Kindred Rebel's Battle Hymn, followed closely by Brendan, Blackacre Boysenberry, and then the awesome advanced titled tracking Cocker, Sadie, Shirley patched her heart to gather a little red and white sparkler to put the twinkle back into her life.

GiGi, Kindred Tickled Pink, is learning to be a city girl living in Madison, though she is already a world traveler of sorts. For more than a year she was with handler, Maureen Jewett in Florida who showed her to all her singles, but the two majors eluded us. They just weren't where Maureen went most of the time.

GiGi was fourth place in the 6 to 9 particolor puppy bitch class in 2005 out of a large group of babies. She is littermate to Ch. Kindred GottaKeepHer and Ch. Kindred GateKeeper as well as Kindred FireKeeper, Taylor, and Kindred GameKeeper, Erik.
