What prompts humans to wrap their lives around those of other creatures? Something very old calls from deep inside us to connect with other life. Learning about others, helps us better understand ourselves and our place in this life. My Cockers share my life and encourage me when I'm a little sad, or dance with me when I am happy. And I share their fusses and happy contendedness, too. Kindred Cockers are raised on Canidae dog food. They are vaccinated on the American Veterinary Medical Association schedule. Their eyes are examined by a licensed veterinary opthalmologist annually, and screened for hip dysplasia and submitted to OFA. The dogs are also part of the American Spaniel Club Foundation, Cocker Spaniel-Breed Health Survey, and participants in several, relevant research studies. My goal is to breed Cocker Spaniels who conform to the breed standard, who are capable of being reliable gundogs, who are healthy and easily trained to be lifelong companions. My breeding program is based on lines demonstrated to transmit these traits, and offer me the opportunity to bring the best of the past into the Cocker of tomorrow. Beauty, brains |
