Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Still has a rail siding crossing Water Street
but not much shows where it crosses the green grass
next to the parking lot.
Was served by the Green Bay and Western Railroad.

Gift shop by the blue canopy.

Distant view below of the main line of WC / CN.
Poor panorama, done months after taking the pictures.
Had no intentions at the time of matching lens settings and locations.
The tracks run perfectly straight east-west,
there isn't a bend in them like this picture has.
Maybe next summer I'll figure out a better view,
but there's not many openings between trees and powerlines
to get close in the older part of the city.

Water Street on the left / west, then depot,
just right of the picture split is the roof over the Soo 2713 loco,
then Rip tracks and car shops,
roundhouse behind the trees.
