Continuing the picture story of Sunday, July 2nd, in central Wisconsin.

I always like to visit Nekoosa. About 11 am to 1 pm the Domtar switcher works the mill, and crosses two city streets with easy viewing.

About 3 in the afternoon we were back in Wisconsin Rapids,
and the Biron paper mill job is returning west to the yard.

Upcoming event,
a lot of historic activities at the

Portage Plover Rendezvous

July 15-16 (Sat.-Sunday), 2006

at the Portage County Historical Society Historic Village in Plover, Wisconsin.

And with this summer's train operations, it seems the Commercial Job comes to Plover and often runs past this site daily, in the late afternoon on their way to the cannery.
