The wind got so low that flags weren't flying at all. And there was no power in the wind for the kite to pull my little camera up. I was lucky to get just a few pictures before it became time consuming waiting for wind and re-launching.

This is the third day of a large high pressure system. There are high cirrus clouds but they aren't moving very fast. The wind was 8 mph according to the airport report on the Weather Channel, but that didn't seem to apply here 10 miles away. There was NO wind above 150 yards of line. Rokkaku even did lazy circles coming back down when the wind died all-together. I hoped to get more pictures, but the wind wasn't predictable enough. Very nice open spaces to fly, and I should return during some morning sunshine.
