The pictures were NOT all taken on the same day
nor in the same light and season.

Sunshine might help show more colors.
Although, sunshine makes heavy tree shadows which can be bigger than the tree blocking the view.

I have been taking pictures for 30 years, and realize lighting can make a big difference in the quality of the photo. Also, this is only a hobby and I have a regular job to work. So I can only be available on weekends and Summer evenings, and then I still have to watch the weather conditions and travel distance.

Your site may have some restrictions, such as the best view might be on the north side. The sun only shines on the north side for a few hours in the morning and evening in the middle of Summer.

It might be best to wait for a day with a thin high overcast of clouds where the sun shines through and evenly lights the subject. The colors aren't as brilliant, but there are no deep dark shadows hiding details.

The chance of this good weather also occurring on a weekend is marginal. I can be ready and hope for the weather to co-operate, but there are no guarantees.

Being a hobby, I can refuse overly difficult situations. And if there is a waiting list and your site has too many 'restrictions', your photo session may be put to the end of my list.
