A comparison of view points at different heights:

A typical view from the ground of a factory for sale:
view from ground

view from 32 feet high
The size of the building is more apparent from 32 feet up.
And more of the building fills the picture, with less of the parking lot.

Forty Foot Point

Pole Aerial Photography

It's fun to get pictures from a new perspective.
An overhead view can put a fresh look into a familiar subject.

Sometimes the subject fills the picture frame more completely, making a pleasing compostion.

Some subjects are naturally large, and a tall view point can show their 'character'.

I have been doing Pole Aerial Photography as a hobby for over 20 years.
My extendable poles with a camera on top gives views from above.
Similar to seeing things while climbing a tree, without the tree.

Less expensive than renting aerial man-lifts or utility bucket trucks.
And I can set it up on any location that can be walked to.

Recently, I improved my equipment and now am able to hold a camera up to 40 feet above the ground.

The equipment is still reasonably portable, if I lower the camera when moving to a new location.
If I can walk to the site, I can raise the pole and take pictures.

This is a hobby for me. I offer my services with a fee to cover my mileage cost and maintenance of equipment.
I live in central Wisconsin (Stevens Point), and from there you can understand the expense if I am requested to travel a few hours to get to a photo site. Contact me for details. To lower your cost of my travel expenses, my travel cost of photo sessions could be split between several people in one area.

For a higher view than from poles, and lower and more detailed pictures than from airplanes, see my Sky_Hi_Point kite aerial photography (KAP) index page. This is less of an 'exact science' than pole aerial photography, and has more 'restrictions'.
