I try to coordinate time available, wind direction, and sunlight for the best picture. Only had one of the 3 elements this day, the wind direction made best use of the parking lot. Wind speed was marginal, I couldn't place the camera where I wanted it for the few seconds that the sun peeped between the clouds.
Some buildings have a different look from above.
I hoped that sunlight and shadows would show well on the many angles of the shingle portion of the roof. . . . but not enough sun this afternoon.
