Very scenic. And we had clear skies, could see 30 miles over the water, all the way across Green Bay to Michigan.
Made a one-hour tour of Peninsula State Park.
The Eagle Bluff tower is 75 feet high, and sits on a cliff 250 feet above the water.
Arrow marks tower location,
as seen from Ephraim harbor.
And sometimes we could see a parasailer at work. There's a boat company that gives rides.
.
View from the tower.
If I would have been here later in the day, I would have seen the parasail from above. They fly near this island.
.
Looking down at the shore, over 300 feet below me.
There's a difference between this and getting a view from a kite camera.
This tower shakes when people walk up the steps.
Queezy feeling.
I wonder what it's like up here in a storm?
We stopped twice at the Fish Creek Kite Company.
I got 3 kites.
Did only two short flights in Door County,
the wind was very calm.
A week later in Plover I tested two side by side, something I rarely do unless I have a big safe flying field like the Soccer Field at Worzella Pines Park.
In 9 mph winds, each was able to lift my small camera.
Now I have kites suitable for a wide range of wind speeds.
I hope they will last a lifetime. I just have to be careful with them and not lose one in a tree.
A kite picture of the ball game in the park is on my Flickr picture pages:

And they have a link to the Fish Creek Kite Company.
My e-mail link is on the Sky_Hi_Point page, linked above.
